A LETTER TO OUR CUSTOMERS

We appreciate your continued trust in Fischer Homes and hope that you and your families remain healthy. Fischer Homes takes the public health concerns that we are facing today very seriously. The health of our Customers and our Associates are always our highest priority.

As the spread of COVID-19 continues to be a growing concern across the country, we're taking extra precautions to protect our customers, our teammates, and the communities we serve. Our Executive Leadership and business readiness teams are monitoring the situation. They are in close contact with health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to ensure we're acting on the latest guidance and information.

We know the environment around is changing rapidly and we intend to monitor and react to those changes. To that end, we want to take this opportunity to communicate regarding Fischer Homes' current operational plan in order to proactively answer many of your questions. We assure you that the entire team is working to minimize the impact associated with your new home purchase.

Model Homes & Sales Centers
Our communities and model homes remain open daily, but to properly observe “social distancing,” all meetings will be by appointment only. Please schedule your appointment by contacting a New Home Specialist or by clicking here. There may even be immediate openings available.

Within our model, we are practicing safe distancing and have a "no handshake" policy. Our model homes are also being cleaned and sanitized routinely, thoroughly and frequently.

Only one group of customers will be permitted to tour the home at a time, and customer groups are limited to no more than three individuals, (including a Realtor if present). Children under 15 are, unfortunately, not permitted at this time.

Any of our employees who exhibit cold or flu symptoms or have a family member who may be ill are instructed to stay at home. We also ask that if you or another member of your family feels sick, that the appointment be conducted virtually rather than in person.

Virtual Appointments
We are also using phone or virtual appointments using Google Duo, Google Hangouts, Facetime, Skype, etc. Please call or text a New Home Specialist to schedule your virtual appointment.

You can also virtually tour model homes on our website. Our Sales Counselors can walk you through the home buying process over the phone and computer.

Design Centers
Our Lifestyle Design Centers and closing offices remain open in all of our markets to continue to meet the needs of our customers - by appointment only. They are operating as normally as possible, however, we have implemented a protocol limiting the number of individuals attending these meetings to reduce potential risks. These areas are being cleaned and sanitized on a routine basis.

Lending
Victory Mortgage is also fully operational and committed to meeting your mortgage needs. The Mortgage markets remain open, and, at this time, we do not foresee challenges with funding loans. Should you need any assistance in securing a mortgage as part of your new home purchase, please contact your Fischer Homes Sales Counselor or Victory Mortgage representative.

Customers Under Contract
For our customers who are currently building a home with us, we are in regular communication with our trade partners, our supply vendors, and local government officials to assure you that resources remain available to maintain schedules throughout all of our regions. We are aware of the potential for delays as the current environment continues to change; however, the entire Fischer Homes organization remains committed to the diligent and professional management of your home construction through this international challenge.

We are committed to communicating with our customers on a weekly basis to provide updates on the progress of their home. This communication will be through our usual channels, including our Field Managers, Sales Counselors, and Closing teams. We ask that you continue to use these channels as the means of communication to ensure consistent and accurate dialogue.

Additional Precautionary Measures

  • Increasing our focus on disinfecting surfaces throughout our work environments.
  • Following CDC guidance in the workplace with regard to sick teammates and those who have recently returned from any high-risk international travel or who live with someone who has recently traveled to one of those identified regions.
  • Prohibiting non-essential domestic business air travel for our teammates.
  • Eliminating in-person meetings with ten or more participants and focusing on conducting group meetings by phone or other digital means.

We are truly thankful for you as a customer and appreciate your patience with us as we all navigate this challenging environment. We hope that you and your family remain healthy and safe.
